Cnc miller programmer

CNC Miller/ Programmer Farnborough GBP38K-GBP41K per annum CNC Miller/ Programmer Urgently required to join a growing team within a specialist engineering business near Farnborough. We are looking for an experienced candidate who can has a proven history of setting, operating and programming CNC Milling machines. You will background of ensuring correct programming and operation of a range of CNC mills and lathes using Fanuc controls. You will also ideally have experience of HAAS mills to create customer orders within stated tolerances, deadlines and Company Quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines as required and Identify new techniques and processes. Read and understand engineering drawings. Raise any problem as soon as they come up so the engineers can solve them quickly avoiding delays. Participate in quality system and documentation when requested Develop CNC part programs tooling to cost effective manufacture of parts. Identify the most cost effective batch manufacture method. Machine Right First Time components for use. Develop design with engineers when required. Work with engineers to resolve problems.Experience/ knowledge requested: Previous experience of programming CNC Machining Milling using FANUC control CAD/CAM experience Ability to lift between 18kg to 25kg Great background in deburring a range of materials i.e. plastic, steel, aluminum, etc. Good experience of using measuring equipment i.e. Vernier, callipers, micrometres, etc. Good understanding of reading engineering drawings Ability to input data into ERP systemsIf you have the above skills and wish to be considered for this position or find out more details then please contact Luana Ferreira on (phone number removed) or submit your CV to alternatively, apply to this advert!
