Transport administrator

Our client is a family run business which supplies warehousing facilities, transport and distribution covering the UK and Europe. Due to continued expansion they require a part time Transport administrator to work within the administration department in their Selby office. The role is to work 9 until 5pm Thursday Friday each week. My client is proud of the longevity of service which spans their team, some who have achieved over 30 years rsquo; service. Duties include: bull; Working mainly on their inhouse management system and the system which supports their network of partners to follow through deliveries to their end destination bull; Inputting traffic jobs bull; Dealing with a high volume of queries via phone and email bull; Monitoring deliveries are running on time and liaising with the relevant partners to update them of any issues/delays bull; Liaising internally with their traffic department with regard to any changes or updates to the system bull; Assisting the Transport Team with administration requirements and booking forms bull; Processing proof of deliveries of goods The roles requires skills/experience in: bull; Customer service via email and phone bull; High level of attention to detail with administration bull; A team player who is happy to help others
