Qa engineer

Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a successful SaaS business based in Warrington who specialise in providing Data Focused Solutions to over 10,000 clients globally. They are looking for a QA Engineer to join their team. They have an incredibly collaborative and welcoming team and are looking for someone who fits that culture as well as being a solid manual tester with a passion to learn and develop with automation testing. Key responsibilities for this role involves accurately documenting testing outcomes using tools like Jira, ensuring that any bugs or defects are logged comprehensively and managed through their lifecycle. You will be encouraged to make recommendations for software enhancements to improve user experience, as well as suggesting improvements to processes and procedures to boost quality and efficiency. Moreover, the role involves crafting and executing test plans, as well as reviewing and writing test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage. Essential Skills * Minimum 2 years of software testing experience * Experience with a number of these testing areas: * regression testing * usability testing * automation testing * stress testing * acceptance testing * exploratory testing * BDD * API Testing * Exposure to Automation and eagerness to learn, ideally with C# Selenium * Agile Experience * Excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques * Strong communication skills both verbal and written * Extremely motivated * Ideally ISTQB Qualified This role is Hybrid in Warrington with 2 days a week on site Benefits include annual bonus, Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, flexible working hours, 35hr week, company events and more
