Assistant contracts manager

Are you a dynamic leader with a background in Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance? Ready to take on a key role in the Maintenance Management team of an established contractor? Do you possess a proven track record in the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance? Then we have a compelling opportunity for you! The Role: Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager and Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of contracts valued at GBP2-4m. You will be accountable for the leadership and management of a team of up to 20 staff, including Engineers and sub-contractors. Key Responsibilities Duties: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Engineers. Act proactively in the Maintenance Management team, driving improvement. Cultivate positive client relationships and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Analyse performance and lead employee development and succession planning. Implement efficiency strategies, support new business, and provide coverage as needed. Handle operational issues and resolutions among stakeholders.Key Requirements: Background in M E/Building Services, qualified to HNC or equivalent NVQ 4 or above in Management Leadership (Beneficial) Comfortable costing and supervising reactive small works projects Proven track record in M E Maintenance and P L management. Knowledge of contracts, statutory compliance, and health safety.
