DT Teacher / KS3/4 / Outstanding School / Hounslow Are you an enthusiastic DT Teacher who is motivated with a passion for changing the lives of young people? Future Education are currently looking to recruit a DT Teacher who can teach up to GCSE level. This role will be based in the Hounslow area in a mixed school that is part of a well-known Academy trust. Ofsted has rated the school as lsquo;Outstanding rsquo; so you know you will be in good hands. This is a full-time and permanent role for September 2024. Role expectation: Preparing materials and resources for lessons and projects using workshop machinery and equipment Carrying out maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in the classrooms and prep rooms ensuring safety and reliability in line with Health and Safety requirements Providing in-class support including leading practical demonstrations and specialty class activity Undertaking general workshop maintenance and DIY tasks including the building of new equipment and alterations to existing equipment. Requirements: QTS or QTLS is needed NQTs/ECTs will also be accepted Experience teaching DT at GCSE level Clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service Up to date Safeguarding training Exceptional communication skills, energy and a positive lsquo;hands on rsquo; attitude Benefits: Outstanding School with a good academy backing Excellent rates that will match the Main PayScale: GBP34,513 ndash; GBP51,179 Professional advice and support from our experienced consultants throughout the process From the school in Hounslow, you can easily get trains to central London.
