Lead Architect Location: Preston, Lancashire Salary: Very Competitive (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Working Hours: 37.75 hours per week The Client: Our client is a reputable consultancy in the construction sector, specialising in project management, architecture, building surveying, and quantity surveying. The Role: As a Lead Architect, you will design, oversee, and execute a diverse array of building projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction in terms of quality. Responsibilities: Oversee project progression, including planning applications and compliance with building regulations. Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaborative success and efficiency in project delivery. Manage external consultants and liaise proactively with various disciplines within the firm to uphold project quality and meet KPIs. Provide expert technical advice and foster architectural discussions to enhance departmental output and client satisfaction. Drive the professional development and operational management of Architectural Technicians within the department. Requirements: Previous experience working in a similar role. Background in architectural design and project delivery across various operational contexts. Knowledge of the design and construction business. ARB and RIBA registration with a relevant degree in Architecture. Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop, with understanding of RIBA work-stages. Excellent communication skills with a strong client engagement track record.
