Engineering manager electrical systems

Job Title: Engineering Manager- Electrical Systems Salary: up to GBP62,000 per annum dependent upon experience + 10% bonus Location: Barrow in Furness or Bristol We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world rsquo;s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Engineering Manager- Electrical Systems. The role can be based in either Barrow in Furness or Bristol but offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. Individual circumstances can be discussed. They work at the cutting edge of technology, creating more than 100 new inventions every year for customers in over 100 countries. You will be joining the Electrical Power Systems Definition team, working on the UK rsquo;s next-generation SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States. You will be part of the Electrical Power team who are responsible for leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs. This role will provide you with an opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various internal, customer and supplier sites.
