Job Title: Shuttering Carpenter Location: AWE Aldermaston, RG7 4PG Job Description: We are seeking skilled and dedicated Shuttering Carpenters with experience working in RC Frame construction to join our exciting project at AWE. Rate: GBP24.50 per hour Must haves: * CSCS card holder, Blue Card with an NVQ Level 2 - Formwork * Experience working with formwork and falsework * Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter on RC frame project * Knowledge of health and safety guidelines * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic * Car is essential for getting to site Key Responsibilities: * Construction of walls, columns, slab egdes, shuttering for pile caps, decking, striking, cores, crane bases, etc. * Ensuring work is performed in line with safety guidelines * Completing work to a high standard of quality Desirable Qualifications Experience: * Manual Handling * Working at Height * Abrasive Wheels * MEWP Vetting DBS Check: We have a thorough vetting process and require a DBS check for all our workers to ensure the highest level of safety and professionalism. If you have completed a DBS check within the last three months, this will greatly streamline your application process. If you do not have a DBS valid within the last 3 months you can still apply as it only take a couple of days to get a result. Additional Information: * Job Duration: This project is planned to run for over a year (12 months +), offering job security and the chance to develop an in-depth knowledge of the project. * Hours: 10 hour standard shift / 7.30am to 5.30pm / 9.5 hours paid / Monday to Friday / 47.5 total hours on a standard week * Unique Interesting Project: This isn #39;t just another construction project.
