Team Leader : Young Persons Housing Support : Halifax Are you a passionate, dedicated Team Leader looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Young Persons Housing Support Team Leader to join a Housing Access team based in Halifax. Umbrella Rate: A GBP 23.57 per hour Duration: 6 weeks Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am : 5pm, 37 hrs/week : Hybrid Team Leader role: Full JD Available * Supervising and coordinating the team and supporting around decision making * Undertake training, appraisals, absence monitoring and recording and other human resource functions as agreed with Team Manager * Organise duty rotas to ensure that the service has adequate staff cover at all times * Deputise for the Temporary Accommodation Service Team Leader when required * Ensure that potentially homeless 16 and 17 year olds and 18:20 year old care leavers referred into the service receive a same day response and that action taken is appropriate and proportionate * Ensure that high quality needs assessments are undertaken, support plans developed and housing pathways identified for service clients * Ensure that formal homelessness investigations are initiated and completed where appropriate * Ensure that a diverse programme of activities is offered to young people staying in Calderdale Foyer and if appropriate CMBC temporary accommodation * Ensure that partner agencies and services are contacted and engage in the process where appropriate * Ensure that adequate record keeping systems are developed and maintained * Link closely with the Social Care and Pathway Teams to assess and identify appropriate housing pathways for 16/16 year olds and care leavers Essential Requirements * UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance * Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline * Leadership of an operational housing team * Experience of working with homeless young people aged 16 :21 * Knowledge of the housing options and welfare benefits available to young people * You Must Have Right to Live and Work in the UK * Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service We also offer an outstanding referral scheme for any Team Leader friends or colleagues.
