Storage Backup Engineer Stevenage on site - Monday - Friday Brief Overview of role / project: As a Storage and Backup Engineer you will contribute to this by being responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future SAN and Backup Systems Infrastructure. To perform day to day Storage Backup Administration. The role will also provide opportunities to assist with project work as required. We are looking to employ someone with an aptitude for Infrastructure support, keen to expand their skills in Storage, Backup and SAN support. Someone who can work in a busy and challenging environment, with a proven track record in day-to-day support and project work, delivering to high quality standards. Your role will involve: Install new hardware. Software upgrades. Vulnerability fixes. Incident Problem ticket management. Change management. Storage system management. Configure SAN. Asset management. Backup system administration.Your experience Experience in Windows and Linux environments. Good knowledge of Enterprise Storage Technologies (NetApp). Good Knowledge of Enterprise Backup Technologies Experience managing physical servers with mapped storage.
