Site engineer

Role - Site Engineer Day Rate - GBP250- GBP300 PAYE Duration: 3 Months Location: Devon Site Engineer Fusion people are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to start ASAP on a site in Cornwall. The Site Engineer will report to the respective Section Engineer / manager and be responsible for all aspects of setting out on-site. The Site Engineer #39;s task #39;s will include, but not limited to: middot; Setting out on-site by various methods ( GPS / EDM / Total Station etc ) for all aspects of work whether drainage / earthworks / roadworks / ducting / site clearance / fencing / structures etc. middot; Work as part of a team and assist all team members as when required. However, be able to undertake site duties individually or seek assistance where necessary. middot; Complete a daily diary of works being undertaken on-site with accurate comprehensive details. middot; Complete check sheet #39;s for quality standards, in accordance with ITP #39;s. middot; Assist or undertake safety inspections workplace inspections. middot; Raise issue permits as required. middot; Undertake CAT Genny surveys prior to excavation works commencing. middot; Attend site meetings in relation to programme / safety / working area #39;s. middot; Good communication skills with team / sub-contractors / general public / Client middot; Be able to undertake site survey and produce sketches of survey work / construction sequences Training / Competency Requirements : middot; CSCS card relevant to appointment middot; SSSTS or SMSTS certification middot; Minimum 5 years #39; experience in civil engineering industry middot; CAT Genny trained ( optional ) middot; 1st Aid ( optional ) middot; Safety Critical Medical ( optional ) middot; Laptop ( optional ) middot; AutoCAD ( optional ) Typical Working Hours : middot; Mon - Fri ( 07.30 to 18.00hrs ) middot; Sat Sun ( only required to suit road closures or specific works - advance notice will be provided ) Please apply online and if you would like to discuss more details the Birmingham office Please note Fusion acts as an employment business in relation to this vacancy --- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
