JMC are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new CNC Operator/Miller to join their team. This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets. This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted, 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Salary and Benefits: * Competitive Salary * Excellent career prospects * Company Pension * 25 days A/L + bank holidays + holiday buy back/ unpaid leave scheme * Healthcare plan * Death in service cover * Electric car and cycle to work schemes The Role: The main purpose of this role is to carry out skilled work using a Jig Borer/Manual Mill machine, setting and running the Jig Borer/Manual Mill to perform the allocated tasks to meet targets, criteria and deadlines. Other duties involve: * Read and interpret engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine the machining requirements. * Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine. * Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut, to achieve precise tolerances and surface finishes. * Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy. * Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. * Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work. * Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety are following. Skills and experience required: * In order to be successful in this role the will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: * Right to live and work in the EU/ UK/ US/ Canada act * Previous experience in Aerospace Industry * Proven experience with Jig Boring/Manual Milling * Experience using lifting equipment such as Jib Crane and pedestrian forklift to load/unload material from or to machines If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.
