Commercial Manager Shrewsbury Construction GBP75,000 -GBP85,000 We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join a dynamic team at a Tier 1 Main Contractor. They are at the forefront of the construction industry, delivering innovative and high-profile projects across various sectors, from healthcare, education, leisure and commercial surpassing GBP100m in value. As Commercial Manager you will be overseeing numerous projects at any given time playing a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the projects and ensuring the highest standards of excellence are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation. Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize revenue and minimize cost. Oversee the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial staff, providing guidance and support. Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Monitor project budgets and financial performance, reporting to senior management. Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve commercial issues. Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in commercial practices. Qualifications and Requirements: A proven track record as a Commercial Manager within the construction industry delivering schemes up to GBP100m in value. Extensive experience with Tier 1 main contractors is essential. Strong leadership and team management skills.
