Planner

Role: Planner Location: Peterborough Salary: up to GBP50,000 p/a plus package A leading contractor on multiple UK water authorities #39; frameworks across the UK is seeking to bolster and strengthen their Planning team with a Planner for the Anglian Water framework. What will you be doing: You #39;ll take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation. Leading, coaching and guiding a small team of more junior Planners, you #39;ll be viewed as an approachable Planning expert who is keen to pass on experience and knowledge to develop others and drive outperformance amongst the team. Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role, you #39;ll have demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry. To succeed in this role, you #39;ll require P6experience. With experience of leading collaborative planning processes, you #39;ll have the ability to interrogate / take information from drawings to implement efficient planning service to the business. Your ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences whilst working in a pressurised situations to tight deadlines will be crucial. Able to adapt as required to meet project objectives, you #39;ll be innovative and supportive to other member of the teams to enhance the reputation of the Planning team amongst the business. Key responsibilities: middot;Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with requirements ensuring methodology is consistently followed middot;Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required middot;Pro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes middot;Develop 4D animations of the project plan to aid digital rehearsal of the project construction. middot;Design and implement effective and value- added communication plans ensuring relevant teams and individuals are clear and buy into the strategy and approach middot;Ensure planning standards are maintained and published processes are adhered to. middot;Appreciate and uphold the Health Safety standards in all planning processes.
