Field service engineer

Field Service Engineer SMT GB Brownhills depot Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week As one of our team of skilled and professional mobile plant engineers you rsquo;ll be providing our customers with your mechanical expertise when dealing with breakdowns, repairs, maintenance and overhauls on our Volvo heavy plant and machinery at customer sites around the Stone/Stoke-on-Trent/Stafford area. Working on Volvo Construction Equipment such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment you rsquo;ll be identifying mechanical problems and offering guidance and advice to customers. You rsquo;ll also be responsible for completing job reports, paper based and online, time sheets and parts ordering. You rsquo;ll be used to working independently in the field and have proven experience of attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs, services and maintenance (mechanical and electrical), on heavy mobile plant including construction, agricultural or land moving machinery.
