Job Title: Project Manager ndash; Sm@rt Factory Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months Industry: FMCG/IT Job Location: Southampton - Hybrid Rate: GBP450 to GBP550/day Ltd (Outside IR35) Profile ndash; Project Manager Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century. Job Role ndash; Project Manager The Project Manager work on a project devoted to enhancing factory systems across the potential of 15 different UK sites. They shall ensure the project delivers on time, to budget and with clear tasks for all resources. The individual will drive initiatives using a variety of project approaches from elements of Prince2 and Agile, mostly working from a Plan on a Page which includes a robust RAID process, milestone plan and executive dashboards. This project management role does require an understanding of IT systems and processes and ideally awareness of Operational Technology that exists at the factory floor. The Factory programme is focused on introducing IT infrastructure, security and processes into the factory. In addition to this there are software development sprints needing to be delivered by internal and external resource pools Duties ndash; Project Manager bull; Manage and ensure all resources are clear and responsible to deliver tasks to date and on time bull; Create, update and ensure a robust Plan on a Page is in place with RAID bull; Chair project team meetings, daily stand-ups and steering calls and report on progress to the Enterprise Solutions Manager bull; Participate in team project meetings, track project schedules, responsibilities of work, and coordinate with contractors. bull; Work with cross functional internal resource and 3rd party contracts to ensure progress is maintained bull; Advising on issues in advance and suggesting potential ways to mitigate bull; Ensuring monies are available and raised for 3rd parties and contractors to deliver bull; Engaging with resources at all levels and locations to create a clear milestone plan with necessary supporting information attached for delivery. bull; The Project Manager is expected to have a solid understanding of project methodology, disciplines and objectives of the respective projects in their remit. Experience/Qualifications ndash; Project Manager bull; Prince2 and Agile Certifications bull; Experience in IoT, Ind4, Sm@rt Factory type projects or programmes bull; Experience with working in partnership with external system integrators bull; Experience with the packaging up software development delivery phases, issuing for delivery and tracking Candidates who are currently a Programme Manager, Project Manager, Network Architect, Senior Project Manager, Project Controller, IT Project Manager and Project professional could be suitable for this position.
