Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Greenwich, London, SE28 8BF Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP70,000 The Royal Borough of Greenwich Repairs and Investment Section is seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in strategic asset management and stock condition surveys. In this exciting new role, you will: 1. Financial Management: * Lead the preparation of financial statements related to all aspects of the work. * Scrutinize final accounts and analyze expenditure patterns. * Make recommendations to improve value for money. 2. Partnerships and Procurement: * Build relationships and collaborate internally and externally for strategic asset management services. * Lead procurement efforts for planned and capital programs, including public sector works and professional services contracts. 3. Cost Estimation: * Develop and maintain an in-house cost information database for accurate budget estimates and cost advice. Requirements: * Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience. * Professional qualification (RICS or CIOB) desirable. * Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. * Active team member
