Head of Finance Accounting Reporting GBP Excellent Salary Full time hours Bedford Hybrid Role Permanent Position We are so excited to be working with a hugely successful client in Bedford who are Top 5 in their industry. This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Finance Professional to take on the role of the Head of the Financial Accounting and Reporting. Your role will be to reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, delivering robust and timely financial information to support appropriate decision making. You will play a key role in the Finance function and engagement with senior stakeholders within the business. Leads the timely and accurate preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management accounts Leads the month-end close process Preparation of the annual financial statements for the business including managing the external audit Leads the forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning process around income, costs, balance sheet and cash flow accounting Leads on tax matters including VAT compliance and filing Manages the Finance team to meet all reporting requirements Drives continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and controls Supports strategic internal projects to support the company #39;s growth strategies Builds relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, bankers, and other third parties Role requirements: A qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience IFRS and UK GAAP Superior attention to detail organisational skills, and able to meet deadlines efficiently Possess strong people management skills/experience and the ability to develop team members Strong stakeholder and project management skills Passionate and results driven with high sense of pride in delivering a high service to stakeholders Experience of playing similar roles in the retail industry will be an advantage Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines To apply for this role please: Apply online or email or call us on (phone number removed) Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
