Gas Manager ndash; Kent London ndash; 65K I am currently representing an excellent mechanical company who are in need of an Head of Gas, Heating and Plumbing to look after a growing Gas department. The company provide projects, service maintenance contracts to a variety of gas, A/C, heating and mechanical services to high end commercial residential clients. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the Head of Gas, Heating and Plumbing will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Gas, Heating and Plumbing business stream. They will be directly responsible for the P L, customer service, quality management, continual improvement and day to day management and development of an engineering team to deliver a high quality service. The client is also open to candidates that are also looking to take their first step into management from either a senior or supervisor level. The position will be a Hybrid role with the expectancy of 1 ndash; 2 days a week situated from their Kent office. Key Responsibilities: Developing a strategic service improvement plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; recommending objectives. Coordinating efforts with the Operations team by supporting the implementation of procurement, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with all major stakeholders. Leading and facilitating the people values within the operational team and supporting business functions, and motivating and ensuring a strong working culture which supports teamwork and collaboration in a professional environment. Boosting morale and thus productivity of the engineer workforce. Leading ,managing ,developing and mentoring a team of field based engineers. Communicating performance against targets on all metrics to ensure all parts of the business are working towards a common purpose. Developing close working relationships with the other company business streams. Helping the Operations Director guide the organisation through its on-going journey whilst valuing and retaining the heritage which has made the company what it is today.
