Hseq manager

Anderson Knight has a fantastic new Opportunity for an HSEQ Manager who will be responsible for assisting the Operational management teams by ensuring relevant documented systems are continuously reviewed and updated. The HSE Manager will develop, implement maintain environmental and Health Safety management systems up to and including COMAH requirements. They will also manage improvement projects when appropriate and generally assist the site operational leadership in maintaining and improving the operational health, safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities bull; Ensure the operational documentation is compliant with Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation to maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies. bull; Contribute to developing a high performing culture leading to world class FMCG performance, through a collaborative approach to driving the compliance agenda. bull; Implement best practice processes and procedures across the operation, maximising effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring a strong interface with the customers, site operations and other business functions. bull; Accountable for developing and delivering operational solutions that enables the volume growth to be achieved in the most cost-effective way whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications required. bull; Knowledge and experience of best in class operational techniques and principles including lean, warehouse optimisation and process optimisation. bull; Commercially astute with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and regulatory bodies. bull; Knowledge and understanding of HMRC legislation and procedures, bonded warehouses and inter-company logistics. bull; Experience of managing complex projects in a highly regulated industry. bull; Multisite experience. bull; Experience and knowledge of food/drink or chemical manufacturing operation. bull; NEBOSH Diploma is essential.
