Job description ndash; Commercial Manager Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: GBP40,000.00-GBP60,000.00 per year Hours of work: This role is for a full time position working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 at our head office in Wakefield. Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, the company operate from premises close to Junction 39 on the M1, which facilitate its Design, Sales, Commercial and Administrational staff whilst encompassing a functioning product demonstration area. About the role: Due to continued growth, They are now hiring a Commercial Contracts Manager to lead their commercial team and oversee the interpretation, management, and enforcement of both new and existing contracts. Candidates from any M E and/or construction management background will be considered. Key Responsibilities: middot; General contracts management and ensuring the contract appraisal process is administered correctly to protect the company middot; Client liaison and negotiation middot; Production of documents, reports and briefings for clients and internal management middot; Monthly review of progress and budget of projects middot; Identifying and managing commercial risks middot; Provide contractual advice during the tendering process up until project completion middot; Accounts management / credit control to a high degree of commercial awareness middot; Manage mediation /adjudication claims Desired experience and Attributes: middot; Previous experience within construction management and/or M E/sprinkler works middot; Contract understanding and interpretation middot; Proficient understanding of legal matters and the Construction Act middot; Ability to clearly and professionally negotiate matters to reach the desired outcome middot; A high level of interpersonal skills both written and verbal middot; Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills middot; Detail oriented
