Project and Technical Engineer Location: Kidderminster Salary: up to GBP45k + car This is a split role between office in Kidderminster and field based around the UK. An industrial Engineering company are currently looking for a Project and Technical Engineer to manage projects from sale until completion. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to manage industrial projects from order to completion. Purpose of Role ndash; Project and Technical Engineer You will: * Manage projects consisting of design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning. * Conduct site visits and collect information, specifications, measurements regarding project Produce Method Statements risk assessments related to the repair / installation of the project. * Review efficiency of site and manufacturing operations to ensure Quality, Cost and Delivery schedules are met. * Review material usages on contracts assisting in ensuring that materials are readily available in line with contractual requirements to fulfil the Companies contractual obligations. Procure materials that meet the project specification, quantity, and price, minimising waste through design. Candidate requirements ndash; Project and Technical Engineer The ideal candidate must come from the Industrial Engineering industry as a Project and Technical Engineer or PM. You will also have the following skills, qualifications, and experience: * Proven project and technical experience, ideally with similar size SME rsquo;s or slightly larger. * Likely to be a Project and Technical Engineer or equivalent from an engineering fabrication company in the West Midlands ndash; ideally, experience of fitting / servicing equipment. * Someone with mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge, that is able to talk knowledgably and credibly with staff and the target customer base. * Understanding of site services, able to be out there with customers and advising accordingly as well as back at site.
