Part Time Purchasing Assistant South Leicestershire GBP13ph - GBP15ph Immediate Start Temporary The professional services division at SF Recruitment are seeking a Temporary Purchasing Assistant to support their busy Procurement Team. As a Temporary Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the procurement function of our client #39;s business. Working closely with the Procurement Team, you will assist in sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Procurement Team to identify and evaluate potential suppliers. - Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and contracts. - Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and coordinate deliveries. - Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and documentation. - Support the Procurement Manager in supplier relationship management activities. - Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement processes. - Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team as needed. Requirements: - Strong administration skills - Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
