Fire and security lead

I am currently recruiting for a large housing association who require a fire and security lead. Salary-GBP38,000 - GBP41,500 Location-Exeter, Plymouth vacancy type- Permanent We #39;re currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fire Security Lead to join our Property Compliance Team covering our Devon locality. As you #39;ll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a business use van and fuel card so you #39;ll not be out of pocket. You #39;ll also benefit from: GBP335 yearly Tool Allowance GBP450 yearly flexible benefit pot to use against benefits of your choice Uniform PPE 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days) Chance to buy or sell holiday as part of our flexible benefits package A van and fuel card for business travel iPhone and iPad Generous pension and life coverWhat you #39;ll do: Audit F S certification from external contractors and 10% of their on-site works Carry out safety and technical audits on F S Engineers and F S contractors and undertake site validations and pre and post-inspections Apply knowledge and skills to record and report on status and condition of fire and security services equipment encountered via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates. Test/Service/Install Fire Systems/Emergency Lighting/AOV/CCTV Identify faults and repair/Install Door Entry/Door Access/Door OperatorsWhat you #39;ll need: A minimum of 5 years Industry Experience F.I.A or equivalent Certifications Ideally be Electrically Qualified although not essential Proven Industry work experience for fire/door entry access will be desirableYou should have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You #39;ll enjoy working alone or as part of a team and be confident in using IT technology such as iPads and Microsoft Word packages such as basic excel and other IT software. This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through your participation in the out of hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks. Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van.
