Bookkeeper accounts assistant

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Didcot. As a Bookkeeper you will be dealing with all manners of account functions from transactional day to day including credit control. Main Responsibilities: * Daily management of all bookkeeping activities including credit control. * Quarterly VAT Returns including Postponed VAT * Month end procedures including stock take report. * Monthly accounts management reporting including P L, Balance sheet and cash flow forecast. * Providing our accountants with the relevant information requested (quarterly and annually) * Support in the set-up of our new company Inox Hoses Global in Microsoft Business Central and help with related bookkeeping activities. * MasterWeld Equipment (UK) - Support with yearly submission of information for our accountants. * Assisting with general office admin duties where needed Requirements * Experience in Sage 50 Accounts * Microsoft Business Central Accounts (or is willing to learn) * AAT Level 2 minimum required * Excellent Maths and computer skills * Skilled in Excel and similar software * Previous experience in an SME environment essential * A #39;roll sleeves up #39; approach Hours - Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week (hybrid options available) Benefits * Salary GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience * Bonus ndash; based on company sales performance * Free parking * Flexible on hybrid working offerings for the right candidate
