Maintenance engineer

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area. Maintenance Engineer salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 (depending on experience) Maintenance Engineer hours: Rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm shifts Maintenance Engineer company benefits: Car Parking Employee benefit schemes Competitive pension scheme 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays Maintenance Engineer Roles and responsibilities: Work safely at all times ensuring Safe Systems of work are adhered too. Work within our quality standards of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively. Ensuring high levels of Teamwork with colleagues and senior engineers. To address areas where production machinery is inefficient, understand the cause and effect of such inefficiencies and seek solutions independently or with assistance from the Manager or relevant departments. Support production staff who need engineering assistance. Pass on knowledge and mentoring, be open to new ways of working. To assess efficiencies of machines within the department, dealing with any maintenance issues. To be active in identifying and confirming timelines for resolution. Attend daily production meetings as required. Ensure you provide the required level of technical support and reviews to the Production Department. To ensure all machines are utilised effectively and production is not adversely affected, where issues arise ensure the relevant stakeholders are advised.
