Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Health and Social Care, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. * Create a supportive learning environment that encourages participation. * Implement innovative teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse needs. * Carefully assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. * Foster positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues. * Stay updated on current trends, research, and advancements in the field of Health and Social Care, incorporating relevant content into lesson plans. Requirements/Qualifications: * Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent in Health and Social Care or a related field. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role. * Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary school level is preferred. * Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles, theories, and practices, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students. * Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes equality and diversity. * A DBS on the Update Service OR willingness to obtain. * x2 satisfactory references
