We are searching for a Transaction Centre Officer to become an integral part of our bustling team in Birkenhead. As a Transaction Centre Officer, you #39;ll manage arrears on miscellaneous income accounts, aiming to prompt customers to clear their debts by closely monitoring a portfolio of accounts, facilitating immediate repayments, negotiating repayment plans, and escalating cases in line with the company #39;s arrears policy. Additionally, you #39;ll oversee the procurement process and payment systems, ensuring the timely ordering of goods and services while adhering to financial protocols and maintaining supplier accounts through regular reconciliation. Accurate and timely recording of general ledger activities is crucial, achieved through meticulous reconciliations and providing precise data to the Financial Accountant and relevant departments. You will be upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with company policies is imperative. You should demonstrate experience in a dynamic office environment, adept at managing time constraints and effectively communicating at all levels to resolve financial disputes. Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 12 month fixed-term contract Maternity cover, 37 hours per week Transaction Centre Officer Requirements: We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with colleagues of all levels, both internal and external. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you will be fully proficient in all aspects of Microsoft office.
