Cad technician

The opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Cad Technician to join a highly dynamic team civil specialists to drive the development of key UK projects. The role As a CAD Technician, you will Work with Design Engineers to produce required design drawings. Drawings in compliance with good CAD practice and relevant standards. Estimated Duration - 12 months 40 hours per week GBP39.77 Ltd per hour This role has been deemed outside of IR35 (SME status) Your duties and responsibilities will be Produce design drawings and models on programme and to budget Undertake work using formal processes and procedures. Manage and record time and assist in providing time estimates for tasks. Effective use of Projectwise and other document management systems Minimal rework requirements. Use appropriate standard details and design standards in preparing design drawings. 4 years rsquo; draughting experience. Experienced in use of Microstation. Knowledge of engineering principals and ability to create and read engineering drawings. Effective time management and communication skills. Working Knowledge of relevant CAD standards and railway or utilities drawing practices. Experience in use of Project wise. Ability to produce bar bending schedules and reinforcement drawings for concrete.
