Children social worker

Team: Child Protection Flexible and Hybrid working available Leeds Council are looking for social workers who are able to manage a caseload comprising of Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence. Social workers should be able to practice restoratively with child and families and promote family led decisions to manage risk and meet support needs. Applicants must demonstrate excellent relational work with children and families and be able to engage children through direct work and child centred practice. Organisation skills and ability to meet competing demands are required to ensure practice standards, good quality and practice and performance. The post requires workers to have good analytical assessment skills and with high quality written work. Social workers will need to work as part of a busy but supportive team and share their knowledge and skills to promote the learning culture. Applicants must be able to drive and have use of a car. Must be office based for duty, but hybrid working is negotiable dependant on the needs of the team.
