Warehouse operative

Position: Warehouse Operative Location: Basildon SS15 Shifts: 6am to 2pm (1 day a week, Mondays) Pay: GBP11.96 ph Type: Temporary (ongoing) Job description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client #39;s team at one of their distribution centres. In this role, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of mail shipments, maintaining high levels of efficiency, and meeting customer expectations. *This role is part-time and will only require working on Mondays* Duties: Parcel Sorting: Organizing incoming parcels. Loading onto Trucks: Transferring parcels onto trucks. Picking and Packing: Selecting and packaging items. Labelling: Applying shipping labels. Scanning: Tracking parcels. Adherence to Procedures: Following guidelines. Data Entry: Recording information. Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Experience with picking and packing procedures. Basic mechanical knowledge for operating packaging equipment Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks.
