Facilities assistant

Facilities Assistant GBP24k - GBP27k Oxford (OX2) office-based Are you a proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional support? Our client, a top 100 law firm, are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join their team in Oxford. In this role, you will handle the daily management of facilities, storage, maintenance, and archiving of deeds/wills and probate files using a computerised database system. Plus, you will support the Facilities Supervisor with H S requirements and help ensure new starters feel welcomed and prepared. What You Will Do: * Manage daily mail room duties. * Offer support with stationery and miscellaneous requests. * Provide reprographics support across departments. * Order stationery, lighting, cash carry consumables. * Respond to reports of breakdowns and organise maintenance. * Oversee cleaning standards and liaise with cleaning companies. * Assist in procurement of consumables and general services. * Help plan and execute office moves. * Manage storeroom, rubbish/recycling control, and kitchen standards. * Conduct H S inductions for new staff. Skills Experience: * Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C, including English and Maths. * Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. * Experience in customer service or office environment. * Previous legal environment experience is desirable. * Strong organisation and prioritisation skills. * Client-focused mindset.
