Product design engineer

Position: Product Design Engineer Location: Pershore, Worcestershire Job Type: Permanent My client who are renowned for providing high quality and innovative engineering products within the mining, construction, recycling, and agricultural machinery industries are on the hunt for a Product Design Engineer! Role and Responsibilities ndash; In this role, you will look to action product developments and modify designs to increase efficiency, performance and manufacturability. Working with the Engineering team, it is paramount to be driven and collaborative to drive success being part of an integral key function. Other responsibilities include: Creation and maintenance of manufacturing drawings for fabricated frames and cast steel components Creation of 3D assembly models and proposal drawings Liasing with office and factory functions so a smooth manufacturing environment is achieved Support the wider business with technical and product related needs Experience or Qualifications ndash; Qualification ideally in Product Design or Mechanical (BEng Honours or HNC) Experience in 3D CAD software (CREO Parametric a clear advantage) Experience in manufacturing processes, fabrications and post machining Competency in MS Office (MS Excel) Benefits ndash; 28 Days holiday + Xmas Shutdown Private Health Care Contributions Competitive Pension Contribution Candidates who currently are a Product Design Engineer, Graduate Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer would be suitable for this position.
