Benefits: Private Healthcare Flexible working pattern (Core hours 5 days a week in the office) Enhanced holidays Bonus scheme Life assurance Your New Role As Head of Finance: As Head of Finance, you will drive productivity within the SSC, leading the Finance Team across both Financial Control and Commercial Finance. Managing business costs over various departments such as Finance, HR, IT, and the centralised operations teams, the role shall report to the Group Financial Controller, and will help to develop a new team, rationalise and standardise processes, prepare monthly management accounts and business partner with senior business stakeholders. Duties Responsibilities bull; Develop and Lead and SSC Finance Team including Management Accounts and Commercial Finance bull; Standardise and rationalise processes and ensure they are documented and satisfy the relevant financial control requirements bull; Ensure the team prepare monthly managements accounts using the relevant SAP systems and perform associated balance sheet reconciliations. Ensuring cost centre and GL posting accuracy across departments and entities, improving visibility of spend bull; Ensure the team prepare P L visibility to department budget holders and hold regular meetings to discuss variance analysis and financial planning bull; Highlight potential cost saving opportunities and work with relevant departments on modelling and business cases to support controlling business costs bull; Feed into group consolidation of actuals, budget and forecast bull; Oversee the purchase order process across departments with associated training, policy and approval matrix bull; Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc duties as required bull; Continued development of finance staff bull; Assist in continuous improvements in month end controls and improvement to a SOX level This list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time. Experience Qualifications Required To Apply: With experience within a large, corporate business you shall have a proven track record of effective staff management as well as the qualifications and technical skills to enhance process and procedure. Fully qualified (ACA.ACCA,CIMA) will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders on all levels. A leader, and someone able to implement change, you will have the opportunity to use your experience initiative to drive process improvements, collaborating with key stakeholders along the way.
