Overall Job Purpose of Electro /Mechanical Maintenance Site Engineer position : bull;To provide a consistent internal service delivering repair and maintenance of plant machinery for the efficient and effective production of product, resolving, and providing new solutions as required to a wide range of routine and complex issues without supervisory approval. To carry out small medium mechanical engineering installations, overseeing all other maintenance applications. Key Responsibilities of Electro /Mechanical Maintenance Site Engineer position : bull;To respond quickly and efficiently to machine breakdowns, communicating progress to the Manufacturing Manager. bull;To complete any preventative plant maintenance, maintain the full appropriate documentation, identifying and escalating any faults they are unable to rectify. bull;Ensure spare parts stock is maintained and re-ordered as required. bull;Ensure quality compliance, completing routine documentation in accordance with manufacturing requirements. bull;Comply with all site polices including HSHE bull;Support the development and training of Apprentices bull; Responsible for all electrical/ mechanical contractors in site including all documentation e.g. Systems of Work, Permit to work. Risk assessments etc. Qualifications/Courses/Experience of Electro /Mechanical Maintenance Site Engineer position: bull;NVQ 4 /HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering bull;Previous experience of mechanical engineering maintenance in a manufacturing environment is essential. 5 ndash; 10 years. Essential Skills of Electro /Mechanical Maintenance Site Engineer position : bull;Able to work under own initiative and on occasion under pressure whilst adhering to strict deadlines bull;Strong problem solving skills bull;Good communication skills, both written and verbal bull;Operational Fault Finding bull;Work independently and part of a team. bull;Deliver results, deliver improved performance. bull;Demonstrate commercial awareness. bull;Manage self, working/assisting internal customers/ external contractors obtaining their involvement and buy in. bull;Coach and develop, providing structured and consistent feedback.
