The role of a Teaching Assistant can be extremely varied and challenging but also very rewarding; you will be expected to support pupils either individually or as well supporting the entire classroom. In the role, flexibility, resilience and a sense of humour are essential. Roles vary from ad-hoc daily cover to longer term positions, although this could lead to something more long-term in future, depending upon the schools need. A flexible, punctual, professional and approachable manner The ability to establish rapport quickly with children whilst maintaining a high standard of control and discipline Qualification levels can vary from none rite up to degree level WHAT NEXT?
