Tradewind Recruitment are working with a multi form entry primary school in Saltley who are currently looking for a part time SENCO to start with them after February half term. They are looking for someone who has experience as a SENCO in a school setting previously and is able to com in and hit the ground running. Key responsibilities: Reporting to the Headteacher, this post holder will be accountable for Strategic direction and development of the SEND Teaching and learning for SEND to establish a clear and ambitious vision for SEND and pastoral provision, to draw up the Inclusion/SEND Development Plan consistent with the Improvement Plan. Ensure whole school SEND policies translate into effective inclusive practice and are fully aligned with the SEND Code of Practice.
