Sen teaching assistant

Tradewind recruitment is currently looking for a teaching assistant to support a student with special educational needs in a 1:1 position. The primary school is in Bristol and the position is from the 3rd June on a full-time, long-term basis. There is the opportunity here to continue with the school from September. The role: Assisting the class teacher in delivering exciting and engaging curriculum Supporting the student socially, emotionally, and academically Assisting day-to-day running of the classroom Supporting the student 1-2-1 with various tasks and topicsWe are looking for a teaching assistant who: Is patient, sensitive and understanding Has excellent communication skills and active listening skills Experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities is desirable A strong desire to support and work with childrenBecause of this, we are looking to pay up to GBP90 per day for the role - depending on qualifications and years of experience. The hours will be 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, however the school are willing to consider a job share for the right person. Why Tradewind Recruitment?
