Site engineer

Your new company Specialist Civil Engineering who offer engineering services to major infrastructure projects throughout the UK Your new role Working on a major water infrastructure scheme across East Anglia, they require a Site Engineer to join the project team, initially based out of the Bury St Edmunds area, but work can move across the East, so you must be willing to travel. Some of the key duties include: Accurate setting out of the works and dimensional control Resolving and/or reporting technical problems/design issues Coordinate carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan The production of survey information and red-line drawings for the completion of the As-built records Ensuring activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan Accurate maintenance of Quality records progressive with the works Ensure survey equipment is calibrated, in date and in a serviceable condition Ensure personal site diaries are accurately maintained Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements using the appropriate agreed procedures Informing senior management of any non-conformances or poor workmanship Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties Close liaison with the site team Ensure that only the latest issue drawings and documents are being used Ensure all materials on site are suitable, stored in line with manufacturer #39;s recommendations, current working practice, contract specification or project requirements Assist the Site Management team to update KPI #39;s, material reconciliation and progress reports What you #39;ll need to succeed Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) CSCS Card Understanding of typical construction methodologies Familiar with the use of Survey and setting out equipment What you need to do now If you #39;re interested in this role, click #39;apply now #39; to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
