Audit Accounts Senior Location: Durham We are seeking an Audit Accounts Senior to manage statutory audits and account preparations for a diverse portfolio of innovative clients. This role offers a competitive salary and requires travel across the North-East and Yorkshire. Responsibilities: Prepare accounts using client systems such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks Online. Lead financial statement audits from planning to completion, including managing onsite audit teams. Draft and finalize corporation tax calculations. Address and resolve queries from accounts and tax managers. Act as a primary client contact, handling ad hoc queries. Provide training and support to team members. Contribute to departmental meetings and continuously improve our systems and processes.Qualifications: ACA or ACCA certification required. Proven experience in accounts preparation for small to medium businesses, including statutory financial statements. Background in general practice with a focus on accounts, audit, and/or tax. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to client sites as needed.Offer: Highly competitive salary.
