Transport Planner Our client is looking for a Transport Planner to become a key member of their growing team in Manchester. The position involves: middot;The ability to prepare Transport Notes, Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans and Site Access Appraisals. middot;An understanding of relevant local and national policy and guidance. middot;The use of Junctions software (ARCADY and PICADY). middot;Preliminary design of access, junction improvements and highways schemes using AutoCAD. middot;The preparation of high-quality graphics using GIS packages and/or Corel Draw. middot;Exposure to Project Management and client communication Key skills required: middot;Experience in the field of development transport planning. middot;A member (or seeking to be) of a professional membership, such as CIHT or ICE. middot;Accuracy and good attention to detail. middot;High standard of work ethic and ability to use initiative. middot;A formal education in either Civil Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
