Senior Geo-environmental Engineer Our client is a geo-environmental consultancy providing solutions to a varied client base, including developers, house builders, distillers, local authorities, consulting engineers and other professionals across the UK. The team offers a range of services related to the investigation, remediation, and validation of proposed development sites. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to take a #39;hands-on #39; approach to the day-to-day running of projects. As a senior, the successful candidate will be able to work largely independently and work on more complex sites and a greater range of work. Responsibilities of the role: middot;Desk studies middot;Organising site works and setting out (though in a lesser capacity, and more training of junior staff) middot;Testing schedules (independently) middot;Collating SI reports, and reviewing junior staff reports before being passed to PM/team leader middot;Supporting validation works (to a much lesser extent) middot;Attending client meetings - running meetings, sometimes with support. middot;Council/Peer Review comments middot;Quoting for works (limited basis) middot;Involvement in team finances (limited basis) middot;Organising training events for staff middot;Progressing with CPD of specialist skills and Chartership middot;Assisting Principle Engineer with team management and working closely with graduates and engineers.
