As a Disability Support Worker in a Christchurch-based school, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and assistance to students with disabilities. Responsibilities: Work closely with students with disabilities to provide tailored support in daily activities of school. Implement individualised care plans, lesson plan and ensure the well-being and safety of those under your care. Foster an inclusive and respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including class teacher and staffs and, to ensure holistic support. Maintain accurate and detailed records of students #39; progress and activities. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar role is advantageous. Understanding of various disabilities and effective support strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience in providing support to students with diverse needs. Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of those with disabilities.
