Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Experience ideals * Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying [desirable ndash; progression towards or completion of RICS] * 2 years rsquo; experience in the construction sector * Understanding of JCT contracts * Life-cycle commercial management of contract / package values of circa GBP 500k to GBP5m Person Specification * Behaviourally robust and resilient individual who owns the delivery of agreed objectives * Pragmatic decision maker, who seeks mutually beneficial outcomes for all contract stakeholders * An aspirational professional with a desire to have a wider impact on the organisational development and colleagues * Confident and effective communicator Quantity Surveyor Experience Ideals * Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying * 2 years rsquo; experience in the construction sector working for a contractor with civils, subcontractor or construction delivery. * Effective working knowledge of both JCT and NEC contracts Person Specification * Detail and solution orientation * Capable of working on own initiative within an agreed framework of empowerment * Someone who will fight hard but fair for contractual entitlement * Likes to feel part of an effective team * Visible i.e.: enjoys working on-site and within an office environment * Confident and effective communicator We look forward to speaking with you
