Chassis Dyno Lead Test Engineer - 39591 Rate: GBP25.96/hr Umbrella ndash; inside IR35 Division: Product Engineering Contract Position based at: University of Warwick (fully on site) Position Description: The individual will be technically outfacing and responsible for the day to day operation of the Chassis Dynamometer test facility, dealing with project planning and execution of test programs. You will be required to promote the facility at external events and work with the business team to develop the customer base but also promote the test capability more widely within the industry to third parties. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Knowledge of combustion, hybrid and electric vehicle technology Familiarity with chassis dynamometer systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools A keen eye for detail and good analytical skills to interpret test results accurately Prior experience in Chassis Dynamometer Vehicle Emissions Test role is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving abilities to address any technical issues during testing Capable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representatives Preferred: Experience in chassis dynamometer emissions tests on combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles Able to perform pre-test vehicle inspections to ensure they meet test requirements Experience in analysing emissions test results using specialized software tools Able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative testing methodologies Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to vehicle emissions testing Education Educated to Degree level in a Mechanical and or Physics related subject Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
