Job Title: Permanent Maths Teacher Needed - September Start! Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP41,333 Per annum Qualifications: QTS Job Duties: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students - Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support - Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation - Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies - Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and teaching methods - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to inspire and motivate students - Organisational skills to manage workload effectively Education: - Bachelor #39;s degree in Mathematics or related field - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent Experience: - Previous experience teaching Maths to secondary school students - Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development - Familiarity with assessment and feedback processes Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth understanding of Maths concepts and principles - Proficiency in using educational technology and resources - Strong classroom management skills - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs - Commitment to continuous professional development Working Conditions: - Full-time position with regular school hours - Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities - Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis - Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the school All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
