Support worker

We are currently working on behalf of a specialist care organisation who are looking for a full-time residential care worker to make a difference in their service in Retford, Nottinghamshire who can commit to a flexible rota. The service prides itself on providing the highest level of care to children with complex range of behaviours and challenges including specialising in self-harm, sexually harmful behaviours, attachment disorders and those risk of child sexual exploitation, so experience within this client group would be desirable. There are also opportunities to progress within the company. We are looking for a Residential Care Worker who has: * A calm, enthusiastic, creative and have a great sense of humour * A fun, kind, a safe and reliable role model * A team player who is keen to grow and work on their own skills * Physicall fit, happy to work hours around the needs of our children, and not offended by the odd swear word * Resilient, emotionally aware, and level headed * Able to see beyond behaviour and seek to understand the communication of need * Someone who is happy to use our cars to drive our young people to activities and appointments!
