Solar Electrician ndash; Overview Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd are currently working with one of UK rsquo;s largest renewable energy companies who are looking for a permanent Electrician rsquo;s to carry out Solar PV installations in the local area. The company have been established for over 10 years, specializing in the installation of renewable energy systems in domestic and light commercial properties, they are currently experiencing a consistent period of growth having doubled in turnover in the past 4 years. Within the role, you will work in a two man team alongside a Roofer/Panel Installer, installing Solar PV systems on private domestic and social housing properties within the local area. You will work as a team to complete installations, with the roofer installing and fixing the panels and running the cables through, which the electrician will then wire up and commission the system. Most systems range between 6-12 panels and some jobs will have a battery storage system in addition. The company have been installing PV systems for over 10 years and have 50+ crews working nationwide. They aim to make each install as simple as possible for their Engineers. All sites are technically surveyed prior to the installation starting, all scaffolding and required infrastructure will be set up prior to the teams arrival, and all materials are delivered to site with some surplus to keep as spares/ van stock. You will operate within a 2 hour (maximum) radius of your location with all travel time paid. The role is mobile with a company van and fuel card provided and therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence. Solar Electrician ndash; Requirements * 2+ years experience on domestic electrical works * Previous experience wiring up Solar PV systems (Desired) * Previous experience installing Battery Storage Systems (Desired) * 2372 or 2399 qualification (Desired) * 18th Edition (Essential) * Full UK Driving Licence * Willingness to work in a team Solar Electrician ndash; Salary and Remuneration * Salary of GBP40,000 * Door to Door Travel Pay (Circa GBP10,000 per year) * Company Van + Fuel Card * Overtime ndash; Loads available in week and at weekends * Tool Allowance to upgrade anything they need, buy new tools throughout the year * PPE + Uniform * Company iPad * 23 days + Bank Holidays * Private Medical * Life Assurance (3 x Salary) * Pension
