Grant Writer * Remote working - you can be based anywhere within the UK * Permanent staff position * Salary circa GBP35,000 a year, plus performance bonus An experienced Technical Grant / Proposal Writer is required to join a niche engineering start-up. Coming into the company at a critical time during the next expansion phase, you rsquo;ll take a key role in securing future funding for the business. With some complex projects already under their belt, and some long term contracts already secured with major clients, joining this technology-forward engineering company could be the perfect career move for you. What You rsquo;ll Be Doing * Working with the directors to identify eligible funding streams available to the business * Taking responsibility for all aspects of grant/funding applications * Assisting with writing technical bids proposals for such opportunities * Assist in prep work for client presentations * Modify existing pre-written content where relevant * Sourcing information, developing and managing databases What You rsquo;ll Bring to the Team * Proven experience in a similar role is essential, preferably from a technical/engineering background * Degree educated would be good, but not essential * Exposure to the proposal process for the European Space Agency or Innovate UK * A professional writing background would also be beneficial * Strong time management skills * Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision ndash; this position comes with a lot of autonomy and working on your own initiative * Strong written English language skills and wide vocabulary * Adaptable to handle changing requirements and deadlines For further details on this opportunity, please apply or contact John Dorling at Pin Point Recruitment
