Stores assistant

Due to continued growth, my client who operates Worldwide is now recruiting for 4 Stores Assistants to join their Manufacturing facility, based close to Wakefield. The successful Stores Assistant will play a critical part in supporting the business as it grows, you will rotate between goods in, picking packing and stock control, this is a high peace environment and can be at times physically demanding. Stores Assistant Responsibilities: * Document the receipt of inbound parts, correct placement for stock locations, pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner. * Ensure all parts are correctly labelled with storage location and logged on system. * Operate machinery, handling equipment unload vehicles. * Assist with regular stock takes. Stores Assistant Requirements: * The successful candidate must have a strong logistics, warehouse, or stores experience. * Be self-motivated, hardworking and physically fit. * Strong organisational skills. * Ideally hold a valid forklift licence. * Flexible and willing to learn new skills. * Ideally you will have SAP experience or similar inhouse computerised stock system. Stores Assistant Benefits: * Salary GBP27,248 * Monday to Thursday 7am ndash; 4.30pm Friday 7am ndash; 1.30pm * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. * Opportunity for overtime. * Company pension scheme.
